Mumbai: A terrible fire broke out in Mumbai on Sunday morning. The fire was burning from the short circuit. Seven members of a family were burned to death while they slept. Two children are said to be among the dead. It is reported that the accident took place in a two-storey house in Chembur’s Siddhartha Colony at approximately five o’clock Sunday morning.
It is known that there was a shop on the first floor of that house. Electrical equipment was sold there. Also kept on the top floor. And the family lived on the second floor. A sudden fire broke out in the shop below on Sunday morning. From there, the fire spread to the second floor room. And as a result, the whole family lost their lives.

According to local sources, the fire happened around 5:20am. As a result, everyone in the house was asleep at the time of the fire. Because of this no one could escape. The deceased have been identified as Paris Gupta (7), Narendra Gupta (10), Manju Prem Gupta (30), Prem Gupta (30), Anita Gupta (30), Vidhi Chediram Gupta (15) and Geethadevi Dharamdev Gupta (60).
Initially estimated by the fire brigade, the fire broke out in the electrical equipment shop due to a short circuit. Then the fire spread gradually. The house was quickly engulfed in flames due to the large amount of flammable material being stored. Such a tragic accident has cast a shadow of grief over the whole area.
