Mukesh of Kishanj became a chess champion. Recently the 5th Chess Championship was organized at IIAS Campus, Dagapur, Siliguri. A total of 176 players from Siliguri, Raiganj, Malda, Cooch Behar, Jalpaiguri, Alifurdoar, Gangtok, Darjeeling, Nepal and surrounding areas participated in it. These included Mukesh Kumar, son of Tegria resident Derendra Saha and a prominent promising player in his district.Who has enhanced the prestige of his district by becoming the champion in this attractive competition.
