The Government of Pakistan has appointed South Korea’s renowned social and business personality Mudassar Ali Cheman as Honorary Advisor to the Pakistan Korea Investment Board.

This notification was issued by Board of Investment, Prime Minister House, Islamabad.

Mudassar Ali Cheema belongs to Gujranwala, a large industrial city of Pakistan. He did his primary education from Gujranwala. Graduated from Punjab University.

He went to England for further education and obtained a degree in Information Technology. In 2006, he moved to South Korea and started his own business.

It should also be noted that Mudassar Ali Cheema was granted special citizenship by the Korean government in 2017.

In the year From 1948 to 2018, the Korean government granted citizenship to 194,000 foreigners and only 4 people were awarded the role model award, among which Mudassar Ali Cheema was the only Pakistani to receive this honor.

Mudassar Ali Cheema was elected as the Secretary General of Pakistan Business Association (PBA) Korea in 2013. He was the President of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce Korea from 2015 to 2021. He is currently performing his duties as the chairman of the PBA. Mudassar Ali Cheema is the ambassador of Punjab Tourism Department.

Mudassar Ali Cheema has received many awards for the best entrepreneur from the Korean government.

Under his leadership like PBA and Pakistan Embassy in Seoul and Pakistani Ambassador especially Zahid Nasrallah, Ambassador Rahim Hayat Qureshi, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, Nabeel Munir, Adil Khan Shafiq Hyder Wark boosted the morale of Pakistan and Pakistani society.
