Mourning Day is observed today in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Peshawar: In view of the suicide blast in a mosque in Police Lines Peshawar, today will be a day of state mourning and the national flag will be flown at half-mast in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
As mentioned in the details, the Prime Minister, Prime Minister Mohammad Azam Khan said that a day of mourning was observed in the province and the government is equally involved in the mourning of the families of the martyrs.
The number of martyrs, including the imam of the mosque and policemen, has risen to 59, and more than 140 people have been injured in the attack on the police line mosque during midday prayer.
The condition of many victims is critical, according to security officials, the attacker was in the first row. The mosque’s two-story building was destroyed in the blast. The outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the blast.
