Because of the increasing pace of the monsoon, this time the monsoon is reaching everywhere before its scheduled time. If we talk about Gujarat, monsoon usually reaches here by 15th June, but this time monsoon entered the state four days before its scheduled time i.e. on 11th June.

Gujarat Monsoon has now reached South Gujarat after Saurashtra. Due to this, drizzle has started in many districts of Saurashtra and South Gujarat. It started raining in Navsari from the morning itself, which gave relief to the people from the scorching heat. The weather department has predicted normal to moderate rain for the next 4 days.
In the last 24 hours, the maximum rainfall of half a centimeter was recorded in Bhungarh Plittan.
The meteorological department stated that the monsoon will become active after four days. Rain is predicted in more than 20 districts today. Whereas on June 19, heavy rain was predicted in Valsad, Daman, Dadra and Nagar-Hauli.
Rain in the countryside of Taffi
The rainy season has also started in Tapi district. After a sudden change in the weather in Valod Taluka on Saturday, it rained in the afternoon due to which the weather became cool. Apart from Walod, it also rains in Tapina Viare, Songada.
According to the data of the meteorological department, in the next 5 days it will rain heavily in many districts.
Rain in Navsari and Khambhat
Light rain fell in Anand’s Khambhat this morning. It is raining heavily in many areas of the city. It started raining in many areas including Mankodiya, Station Road, Depot, Tower Road since morning. Because of this, children were seen struggling even when they go to school.
The weather department has predicted light to moderate rain at many places.
It will rain everywhere until June 19th.
According to the meteorological department, there is a possibility of rain in Panchmahal, Dahood, Vadodara, Chota Udpur, Narmada, Dengs, Navsari, Valsad, Tapi, Daman, Dadra and Nagar-Hauli and Gir Somanat on June 16. while on June 17, in Baruch, Surat, Dengs, Navsari, Valsad, Daman, Dadra and Nagar-Hauli, Amrli and Bhaungar.
On June 18 there is a possibility of rain in Bharuch, Surat, Dangs, Navsari, Valsad, Daman, Dadra and Nagar-Haveli, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar and Gir Somnath in Saurashtra. On June 19, there is a possibility of rain in Panchmahal, Dahood, Vadodara, Chhotudpur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Dengs, Navsari, Valsad, Tapi, Daman, Dadra and Nagar-Hauli as well as Jungad, Amarli.
