According to the Meteorological Department, due to light and moderate rains, the temperature in most areas of the state has seen a drop of four to five degrees. The maximum temperature in the last 24 hours was 39.4 degrees in Daltenganj. The minimum temperature in Seraikela was 24 degrees Celsius.
Currently Monsoon is active in Santhal Pargana district only. When an active monsoon enters Kolhan district, there may be good rainfall.
