After that, he will go to the president and ask to form the government. Narendra Modi is expected to take oath as the Prime Minister for the third time on Saturday, June 8.

Meanwhile, Narendra Modi has invited the King of Bhutan, the President of Sri Lanka, the Prime Ministers of Nepal, Bangladesh and Mauritius to take his oath. According to sources, his swearing-in ceremony is at the end of the week. And on that occasion, Modi invited the heads of neighboring countries.

In a post on his X handle, Modi said, “Thanks to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for her warm wishes. India and Bangladesh have historic ties, which have grown exponentially over the past decade. I look forward to working together to further strengthen our understanding of people-centredness.”

According to sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi invited Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Kumar Jagannath to attend the swearing-in ceremony. The President of Sri Lanka, Ranil Wickremesinghe, is also on the invite list. Earlier on Wednesday, Prime Minister Modi thanked all leaders for the electoral success of the NDA in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections.
