There is a need to put an end to the farmers’ problems
The MLA said that half a dunam in 100,000 hectares is being grown in Buxar, but due to lack of rain, half of the rice has not been planted. Now even small animals have started dying in many areas due to lack of water. There are 97 percent farmers in Bihar who are unable to produce more grains than their requirement. Therefore, agriculture is a question of life for the common farmers. At the same time, the MAL raised questions regarding the supply of water to the last end of the canals.
The minister gave a positive promise
Apart from this, the MLA also raised questions regarding the replacement and cleaning works of canals. According to him, a separate budgetary provision should be made for the replacement and cleaning of canals in Aspet Domraon district. With this, the farmers will be able to get water up to the last kilometer. Regarding the demand, Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary said that it will be introduced as soon as possible.
