A case has been registered against 19 members of the same family on charges of fraud in Thane, Maharashtra. In fact, the accused are accused of defrauding a man and his brother to the tune of Rs 1.17 crore on the pretext of giving them good returns by investing in a cryptocurrency scheme. Based on the complaint of a 42-year-old man, the police registered a case. A case was registered against other members including Sabir Yaakov Gachi, Shakir Yaakov Gachi and Ruhia Shakir Gachi. He promised the victim a 12-fold return on the amount of his investment. The victim invested Rs 91.53 lakh and his brother invested Rs 25.69 lakh. When the complainant asked for the money back, the accused started talking and even threatening him. The police said that as of now no one has been arrested in this case.
