The prime minister is talking to one group of people, while others in the government are talking to different groups. This leads to misunderstandings,” he said.

Sharad Pawar said the government should call Maratha activists Manoj Jarange, Chhagan Bhujbal and others demanding OBC reservation for talks to be blood related they get invitation under OBC category.

OBC members including minister Chagan Bhujbal were seen upset after the demand for reservation. They insisted to the government that their quota should not be reduced. Sharad Pawar said that he is concerned about the rift between localities on the issue of quotas. He said that Manoj Jaranj had said that reservations should also be given to Lingayat, Muslim and Dhangar communities. He said that there should be a real discussion regarding the reservation. Talks on seat sharing will take place after the current session of Parliament.”
