Two traffic policemen were injured after a person hit them with their car in Dighi area of ​​Pune district. The Pimpri Chinchwad police arrested the accused, identified as 20-year-old Prashant Kadam.
According to a senior police officer, the incident took place on Monday afternoon when the two traffic policemen were on duty. The accused was driving an Alto car and when the police tried to stop him for questioning, he ran the car over the two policemen. Both officers were hospitalized. The officers have been identified as Rahul Mote and Kalyan Bhosale. The accused was arrested under sections 307, 353, 333, 279 of the Indian Penal Code and section 184 of the Motor Vehicles Act.
