Maharashtra Chief Minister Akanath Shinde on Sunday challenged Shiv Sena chief (Uddhav) and its former leader Uddhav Thackeray, saying that instead of targeting his son, he should compete with him. CM Eknath Shinde responded to Uddhav Thackeray’s allegations at a public program organized in Thane. What Thackeray has imposed on his son and Kalyan Lok Sabha MP Shrikant Shinde for the Kalyan Lok Sabha seat.

Targeting Uddhav Thackeray, CM Eknath Shinde asked, why is he criticizing someone’s son? instead of visiting his father, which is a challenge. On the other hand, Shiv Sena-UBT chief Uddhav Thackeray on Saturday made it clear to the leaders who left him that he will not return to the party after the elections. Udhav said on Saturday that no traitor would be allowed into the party. Thackeray said that the people of the state will show the BJP and Shiv Sena their place in the assembly elections. In a month and a half these traitors will come to us for jobs because they will become unemployed. I’m not going to give a job to any traitor after the election.
A big blow to Shinda
Meanwhile, ahead of the Maharashtra assembly elections, CM Eknath Shinde’s faction suffered a major setback. In Kalyan Dombivali, many leaders of the Shinde faction joined Uddhav Thackeray’s party. On Sunday, the Shiv Sena Thackeray group was joined by Yuva Sena Shinde group secretary Deepesh Mhatre, seven corporators and hundreds of workers. These leaders joined the party at a program organized at Matoshree, the residence of Thackeray Group chief Uddhav Thackeray.
