New revelations have emerged in the alleged shooting death of Dalpur sexual assault accused Akshay Shinde. Inspector Sanjay Shinde said on Tuesday that after grabbing the gun from the police car, Akshay said he would spare no one. A case of ‘attempted murder’ has been registered against Akshay for shooting at a policeman at the Mombra police station. The FIR was registered on the basis of the complaint of Inspector Sanjay Shinde, the investigating officer of the SIT formed to investigate the sexual harassment of two minor girls at a Badalpur school.
Inspector Shinde said in his complaint that he is also investigating another crime registered by Badlapur police on the complaint of Askai’s first wife, accusing him of sexual harassment and unnatural sex. On Monday evening, a police team took Akshay out of Taluja jail to investigate the case filed by his wife.

The complaint states that the ball hit API More who fell. The complaint claims that Akshay then grabbed the gun and pointed it at Shinde and the officer and said: ‘Now I won’t leave anyone alive.’

Inspector Shinde claimed that he fired two bullets, but they successfully dodged. Akshay’s body language shows that he will definitely try to kill everyone in the van. Inspector Shinde further said, hence he fired one bullet in self defense which hit Akshay.
The complaint states that the accused fell down and was caught by policemen while the van reached Kalwa Civil Hospital, where the doctors declared Akshay dead. Akshay’s family challenged the police statement and claimed that he died in a fake encounter. His father approached the Bombay High Court demanding an investigation by the SIT.
State government’s statement on Akshay’s death is questionable: Supriya Sola
NCP (SP) MP Supriya Sola on Tuesday cornered the Maharashtra government over the death in police custody of Delapur sexual assault accused Akshay Shinde. According to him, the accused died in police custody due to flaws in the government’s circumstances. “I demanded that the accused be hanged in public after the trial to send a strong message to society,” Sola told reporters in Baramati. Sola demanded, ‘A policeman was shot in the incident and it is very worrying. Even the police are not safe in Maharashtra. If there is CCTV footage of the event, it should be published.
