A meeting of postal officials and nodal officials regarding postal ballots was held on Wednesday in the conference room of the Collector’s office. The meeting was chaired by Deputy District Electoral Officer Ashwini Rawat. It was said at the meeting that the Returning Officer had made arrangements with the Post Office to receive the postal vote by post. Steps have been taken to designate the Post Office for the Assembly’s Parliamentary Constituency which will distribute the ballot papers by post to the Returning Officer every day.
