An alleged sensational case of mob lynching has come to light in Muvattupuzha, Kerala. It was said that two days ago a mob beat a migrant worker to death. The police arrested 10 people in this case.

According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Ashok Das (24). He is said to be a resident of Arunachal Pradesh. He is reported to have come to Kerala for work and was living in a rented house at Valakam, near Movattupuzha.

According to the FIR filed by the police, Das was tied to a pole and beaten. In fact, he went to meet a friend who lives in the area. After that, the local people interrogated him for the first time, tied him to a post and beat him severely. He was later admitted to a nearby government hospital. But after his condition deteriorated, he was shifted to Kolancheri Medical College, where he died during treatment.

The police said that Das was tied to a pole and beaten so badly that he suffered serious injuries. Because of this he lost his life. The police arrested 10 people in this case. A case has been registered in the incident under section 174 of IPC. After a preliminary investigation, section 302 (murder) was also added to it. The police say that in this incident no accused will be spared and everyone will be identified and arrested as soon as possible.
