Karachi municipal election results are out; In the field, the People’s Party won, Jamaat-e-Islami came second.
PPP is first, Jamaat-e-Islami second and PTI third.
Karachi The Election Commission has announced the results of the 235 USC in the Shahr Quaid municipal elections, according to which the People’s Party won maximum seats in Karachi. Jamaat-e-Islami is second and PTI is third.
According to Express News, the People’s Party won 93 USCs based on the inconclusive results from the Election Commission. The second party is Jamaat-e-Islami with 86 seats and the third party is PTI with 40 seats of UC Chairman and Vice Chairman.
Muslim League (N) won seven seats, JUI (F) three, TLP two and Mahajr Standing Movement one seat, independent candidates from three UCs.

In 10 UCs, elections were not held due to the death of candidates, and in one seat, the vice-chairman of the People’s Party UC chairman won unopposed.
People’s Party is successful in most districts of Sindh.
In most of the Sindh districts, the People’s Party dominated and won most of the seats. During local body elections, PPP candidates were successful in Union Committees in Hyderabad, Johi, Wanda, Thatta, Jamshoro, Khairpur Nathan, Matiari, Mihar, Dadu, Sajawal, Badin Mirpur Sakro, Matli and other districts.
Like Karachi, local election results are also being received in Hyderabad and People’s Party is leading there. According to the unofficial and non-official results, the People’s Party won 1,034 seats in Hyderabad district from 3,000 to 101 seats.

Similarly, according to the results of other parties, PTI is second with 126 seats, Jamaat Salami is third with 111 seats and Grand Democratic Alliance is third with 15 seats. Unity Party won 8 seats and independent candidates won 92 seats. .
Tehreek-e-Insaf has been accused of fraud
PTI leader Ali Zadi alleged rigging in local elections. During a press conference in Karachi, Tehreek-e-Insaf claimed that it had won more seats and though it was rigged, the Election Commission had direct involvement, and the Election Commission had failed to conduct free and transparent elections.

He said that yesterday’s election in Karachi will not be seen as more fraudulent than the one that called the election.
