Kalpana laid the foundation stone of projects worth crores
Gandeya Member of Parliament Kalpana Soren arrived in Giridih on Monday and laid the foundation stone for schemes worth crores of rupees. He met at Jaridih of Sadar block along with Sadar MP Sudivya Kumar Sonu, MLA Dumri with Minister Baby Devi and Rajya Sabha member Sarfaraz Ahmed.

Later, he laid the foundation stone for the construction of a road, a bridge and a degree college to be built at a cost of crores of rupees in the Bengabad assembly constituency of Gandey. Minister Hafizul Hasan was also present at the foundation stone laying ceremony here.
Giridih will become a hub of education: Kalpana Soren
On the occasion he said that Giridih was going to get three big gifts at the same time. Giridih will become the hub of education and an engineering college along with the university will be built here, which is a better step for education. In today’s time, education is very important, life cannot be imagined without it. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, proper development is taking place in the entire state.
From health, education and employment, work is being done to make women self-reliant and respected. Later, he participated in the departmental level farmers fair cum agriculture exhibition program organized by the Department of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperation at Pesratand of Bengabad block and inspected the stall.
