Kalash Yatra started for consecration of Devi Mandap Achi-News

Bhaskar News The nine-day Shrimad Devi Bhagwat Katha cum Devi Pran Pratishtha Mahayagya, organized for the newly constructed Devi Mandap Pran Pratishtha at Itkhori Nawada village, began from Tuesday with a grand Kalash Yatra. A large number of devoted women and girls gathered in the grand Kalash Yatra which was taken out with musical instruments from the temple premises. The devotees, carrying urns on their heads, visited Raja Narcha, Khurd Narcha, Narcha Kala and Dumbadih village and reached the banks of the river Sagnar. Here, Yagyacharya Jitendra Tiwari and his associate priests, who came from Vrindavan Mathura, summoned all the Gods and Goddesses along with rituals and worshiped Mother Ganga by chanting Vedic mantras. After this, the devotees filled water in the urn from the banks of the river and again took the urn on their heads and reached the Yagya complex while touring these villages. Here the Yagyacharya chanted Vedic mantras along with the rituals and established the Kalash in the Yagyashala. People from the entire Nawada Panchayat including Yagya Committee Chairman Santosh Sao alias Bengali Sao, Secretary Sitaram Sharma, Vice President Tulsi Kumar, Treasurer Anil Yadav, Deputy Treasurer Raju Kumar are involved in making the Yagya successful. Many public representatives including ZIP member Sarita Devi, Deputy Chief Sanjay Gupta and social worker Bharat Sao participated enthusiastically in the Kalash Yatra.
