A CRPF battalion soldier who reached Kaithal for the assembly elections died on Monday. He had chest pain suddenly at 7am on Monday morning.

After this he was admitted to the Pundri community centre. After first aid from there, he was referred to Kaithal Civil Hospital. Where he died.
The deceased constable has been identified as Govind Prasad Mishra, a resident of Madhya Pradesh, who had come on election duty along with other soldiers of the CRPF company. He was on duty at Pundri and used to cook food for the soldiers.
