Karachi: Sindh Minister for Energy, Planning and Development Nasir Hussain Shah has expressed his reaction to the statement of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM Pakistan) leader Khawaja Izhar.
Provincial Minister Nasir Hussain Shah in his statement said that the first priority of the Sindh government is to restore peace in any case, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah gave instructions to IG Sindh and Additional IG Karachi to restore peace.
He said that the police and rangers are conducting targeted operations in Karachi, also against street crime are being taken in the city, Sindh needs policemen who understand the situation.
He said the reason why Khawaja Yizhar felt so bad about appointing an IG of good repute is beyond comprehension, Khawaja Yizhar should be satisfied, Sindh government will improve the law and order situation.
Nasir Hussain Shah said Khawaja Yazhar says we have blackmailed Muslim League (N) and installed IG Police, it seems he has become their spokesperson.
He said that the law and order debate of Khawaja Yizhar is purely political.
