In order to improve the country’s medical system, the doctors of RIMS, the state’s largest hospital, pay special attention to research. The former Director Dr. Kameshwar Prasad established the Research Cell during his tenure. Currently, research is going on more than half a dozen ICMR projects at RIMS. For this, ICMR gives a grant of Rs 3 crore to RIMS annually.

RIMS doctors not only investigate diseases but also their severity.
