Rawalpindi (Newsdesk) Jamaat-e-Islami’s dharna against inflation and increase in electricity prices continues for the second day at Murree Road Liaquat Bagh. Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem Rehman also reached the ongoing sit-in at Liaquat Bagh. A special breakfast was organized for the participants by the dharna administration. The participants of Jamaat-e-Islami announced a dharna against the increase in inflation and electricity prices to continue the dharna until the demands are accepted.
Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeemur Rahman while addressing those who participated in the sit-in said that the rulers are involved in extravagance of public taxes and have made the nation a mockery, therefore, this sit-in can go to another address as well.
Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Naeemur Rehman said in his address that people are put under more pressure by expensive contracts with IIPs and pressure from IMF is low and electricity bills are high, IPPs are stealing the nation,

People have to adopt the protest route to demand their rights, which is very sad.
