IPL 2024 Full Schedule Announced
The final of IPL 2024 will be held in Chennai on May 26. The first Qualifier and Eliminator will be held in Ahmedabad on May 21 and 22, respectively. The second Qualifier will be held at the Chepauk on 24 May.
The BCCI on Monday announced the schedule for the second phase of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The 17ed edition of the tournament kicked off last week, with defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) taking on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at Chepauk.
As per the complete schedule, the first qualifier and the Eliminator will be played in Ahmedabad on May 21 and 22, respectively. The MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai will host the second Qualifier on May 24 before the season finale on May 26.
Earlier, the Indian cricket board had announced the schedule for the first two weeks of the tournament only, till April 7, pending the dates of the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. Now that the Electoral Commission has presented the official polling dates, the BCCI, after working in conjunction with local authorities, has finalized the schedule for the rest of the season.
