Men in blue top the World Championship table in tests
Team India won the two-Test cricket series 2-0 against Bangladesh after winning the second one on Tuesday, October 2 in Kanpur by seven wickets.

India were required to score 95 runs to win, which they did with ease losing just three wickets along the way in the post-lunch session on the final day.
In the chase, Yashaswi Jaiswal led the way with 51, while Virat Kohli remained unbeaten on 29, leading India home in 17.2 overs to pass the Test.
Earlier, Bangladesh, who resumed on 26/2, could muster just 120 runs before being bowled out for 146. Shadman Islam’s maiden half-century and captain Mushfiqur Rahim’s 37 were two bright shades on a difficult Day 5 for the visitors. The Indian bowling trio of Jasprit Bumrah, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets each as the Bangladesh line-up was dismantled.
Even after the rain washed out two full days of play, India were concerned about the result as an aggressive play on Day 4 ended several records for the fastest team totals in the history of Test cricket. Bangladesh were bowled out for 233 in the first innings, with India declaring at 285/9, Yashaswi Jaiswal took it forward from there KL Rahul led the way with 68.
Bangladesh fell on Day 5, but of course, provided India with a softer target to surrender for a sweep. This not only sealed the series but also kept India at the top position of the World Test Championship table.
