Kyiv region police detained an entrepreneur and former director of the State Enterprise of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine for accepting a bribe in the amount of 600,000 dollars. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv kgm Police, writes agronews.ua.
On March 22, during the transfer of illegal benefits in the amount of 600 thousand dollars, 320 thousand dollars were in cash, as well as the ownership of seven apartments for a total of 280 thousand dollars, the police in the region Kyiv kept two people.
According to the investigation, one of the criminals and his teammate demanded a bribe from a representative of another commercial company. structures. The perpetrators tried to get a plot of land with an area of ​​35 hectares, which is permanently used by the State Enterprise of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, with the possibility of further development.
The perpetrators were the director of a private enterprise and the former head of a state-owned enterprise of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, who acted as an intermediary.
Investigators under the procedural leadership of the Darnytsk Specialist Prosecutor’s Office in the field of defense, under the active support of the Kyiv Oblast Strategic Investigation Office, detained the men in accordance with Article 208 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine.
Also, money, documents for apartments and their mobile phones were confiscated from the participants. In addition, emergency searches were carried out at their places of residence.
Currently, the issue of notifying the private enterprise director and former state-owned enterprise director of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 28, Part 3 of Art. 369-2, (Abuse of influence) and Part 2 of Art. 28 part 4 of Art. 368 (Accepting an offer, promise or receiving an illegal benefit from an official) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
