The contract of the agency supplying personnel is coming to an end.

Heavy Engineering Corporation (HEC) management has refused to hire 1600 contract workers. The management made this decision after the contract of the agency supplying the workers expired.

.

On Friday, hundreds of workers were trying to get inside the factory, but the gate was closed. After this, discussions took place between the HEC Mazdoor Jan Sangharsh Committee delegation and the HEC management. The delegation said that the supply workers who have been suspended from working have been serving for 25-30 years. Now the management is showing the exit to these workers, which is not fair. If even one worker becomes unemployed, all HEC plants will be completely stopped.

But, the management always refused to take the contract workers into the work. After this, discussions were held with the supply workers in the presence of Sangeeta Singh, head of the three factories and GM Personnel Administration, in the office of HEC Personnel Director Manoj Lakra. He also said that the contract of the supply company has expired, so there is no rule to hire contract workers. A tender has been submitted for the selection of the new company.

After the company has been selected, the employees will have the opportunity to work. At this time, access to the plant is not permitted under any circumstances. Angered by this, Manoj Pathak of Jan Sangharsh Samiti said that the movement of contract workers will continue as before. During this period, ADM and FFP buildings and headquarters will be kept closed. If the problem of contract workers is not solved, then the director and all the officials of BHEL will have to go back.

Salary not received for 22 months, now to remove him from work

Y Tripathi of Jan Sangharsh Samiti said that the contract workers have been working for 25 years. Most of the workers were doing work including fitters, typists, PC operators, turners, sweepers, laborers and others. The agency through which the workers were reinstated has not paid wages for 22 months. Now the management has refused to hire. Here, some management officials said that the contract workers are putting pressure on direct appointment, this is not possible under any circumstances. A tender has been issued for the selection of a new agency. A work order will be placed shortly. After this, contract workers will be employed.
