Weather experts have also said that the mercury will rise up to three degrees in the southern parts of the state including the capital Ranchi. According to Meteorological Department records, on Wednesday, Garhwa, Medininagar, Latehar, Seraikela, Koderma, Ramgarh, Bokaro, Chatra, Gumla, West Singhbhum, Lohardaga, Khunti, Hazaribagh and Jamshedpur of East Singhbhum were the areas where the temperature crossed 40 degrees.
