LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has announced the new seven-member selection committee of the men’s national cricket team on Sunday.
During the press conference, the PCB Chairman told the media that there would be no individual chairman on the committee, however, all seven members would have equal powers. The chairman of the cricket board will have no role in the team selection process, Moshin Naqvi added.
The selection committee will include the head coach, team captain and data analysts. Other members include former Chief Selector and cricketer Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Yousaf, Asad Shafiq, and Abdul Razzaq, the PCB chief said.
