The issue has heated up again over the demand for a separate Gurudwara Committee in Haryana. Discussions on this issue have intensified in the Sikh community and a Maha Panchayat was called regarding this. This Maha Panchayat will be organized on June 23 at Tarawadi Gurudwara.

Ladi Pradhan, representative of the Sikh community and Sarpanch of Saunkada village, said that the Sikh community has been struggling for a long time to create a separate Gurdwara Management Committee in Haryana. He said that the Sikhs must go to jail for doing this and that trains must also be stopped. Cases were fought in the Supreme Court and there was also a victory.

Ladi Pradhan said that the Hon’ble Supreme Court has issued a notice to the Haryana Government that elections should be held under the Election Commission by creating separate polls for the Sikhs, so that the representatives of the Sikh community can handle the service of the Gurudwaras.
Adoption Committees matter
​Ladi Pradhan claimed that the Haryana government, on the contrary, formed an Adoption Committee and ran this committee for 18 months. According to him, this committee was in corruption for 18 months, made personal use of Gurdwara Sahib vehicles and misused funds. Elections were not held even after completion of 18 months. Now the Haryana government is again preparing to form an adoption committee, so that raiding can be done again through the committee.

But no member of the Sangharsh Committee contested for the post of Pradhani.
