Guwahati: The Assam Police in collaboration with the local community nabbed three persons before they could escape after hijacking a mobile phone in Ulubari area on Sunday, September 22.

The police nabbed Samidul Islam, a 20-year-old youth from Bilasipara, Doveri, along with two accomplices from Silpukhuri and Birubari.
Police recovered the stolen mobile phone and the Scotch used in the crime, both were taken into custody.
Legal proceedings were initiated against the suspects.
