GUWAHATI: In a raid conducted by STF, Assam, under Basistha police station, 55 vials containing 74.5 gms of suspected heroin, and 7 tablets of Nitrazepam IP (10 mg) along with other prohibited items and the arrest of the persons involved were seized.

The Special Task Force (STF), Assam, carried out the operation near Khanapara Pass on April 10.

The arrested are Sunita Basumtri, 19 years old from Saukuchi, Sanidul Ali, 19 years old, from Tigaon, and Sukur Ali, 29 years old from Satgaon.
In addition, 5 empty vials and ₹400 in cash were also seized.
The people were taken into custody and legal proceedings are underway. More details are pending.
