Anupama: Actress Rupali Ganguly hit the heights of success with her show Anupamaa, in which she played the lead role of a strong-willed Gujarati woman. In a recent interview, the actress shared that her Gujarati accent in the hit show is inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In an interview, Rupali said, life is about observing people and absorbing things from them. For me, when I saw Anupama, I saw that she did not speak English. I saw him speaking Hindi with a Gujarati accent. So I wanted to do it. I took many things from the Prime Minister.

According to him, when you listen to his speech, you will find that he speaks a few words in Hindi in which the Gujarati accent is prominent and he does not shy away from it. He owns it. The way he maintains his confidence or presents his views in front of others, I chose the same way for Anupama as well.
