The matches in IPL are going on with excitement. They have been entertaining the fans for the past two days. Recently today (March 24) the match between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans gave the fans another thriller. Gujarat won by 6 runs in this match which was like you or me till the last ball. Although the entire match was in the hands of Mumbai, Gujarat won the match after bowling brilliantly in the last four overs.
Mumbai lost the wicket of Kishan early in the chase. Young batsman Naman Dhir was then dismissed with some flashes. At the stage of losing 2 wickets for 30 runs, Rohit Sharma and Develd Brevis supported the team. Both of them added 77 runs for the third wicket making the team strong. After scoring 43 runs, Rohit got out and the Gujarat bowlers went wild. He bowled sparingly and put the Mumbai batsmen under pressure. Tim David and Tilak Verma came out in a nervy match at the end and Gujarat got their first win in this tournament.
Earlier, after losing the toss and batting first, Gujarat scored 168 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Sai Sudarshan scored 45 runs and became the top scorer. Gill scored 31 runs and it didn’t matter.. Tiwatia (22) shone at the end. Among the Mumbai bowlers, Jasprit Bumrah gave just 14 runs in four overs and took 3 crucial wickets. In the 17th over, Miller (12) and Sai Sudarshan (45) took wickets to prevent Gujarat from getting a huge score.
