Pakistan Railways on Tuesday reduced train ticket fares by 25 percent for Eid-ul-Fitr 2024 to allow passengers to return home.
According to the details, Pakistan Railways has announced a reduction in fares for the three days of Eid-ul-Fitr 2024, which will be applicable to all passenger trains except Eid Special trains.
Earlier, Pakistan Railways achieved a historic increase in its revenue as the revenue reached Rs 66 billion in the first nine months of the financial year 2023-24.

A meeting of the Central Royat Hilal Committee for Shawwal moon sighting will be held in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad.
PMD has predicted that the Shawwal moon in Pakistan is likely to be visible across the country on April 9.
According to the PMD, the Shawwal new moon is likely to appear on the night of April 8 at 11:21 local time.
For Pakistanis, Ramadan will be 29 days in 2024 and if the moon is sighted on April 9, they will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on April 10.
