Abhishek Jaiswal/Varanasi: In Kashi, craftsmen make new experiments in wood art every day. In the same series, for the first time the artisans engraved the beauty of the ghats of Banaras on wood art. Models of these ghats have been prepared in three different designs which are currently making waves in the market. Artists also receive orders from abroad. Ganga arti, temple, boat and priests are seen in these models of Banaras ghats.
Wood artists used it for the first time in Benares. Her orders reach the artisans from many big cities in other countries including Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Delhi. Shovi Aggarwal designed it and then carved it on wood.
5 more models will be ready
Shovi Aggarwal, who designed the ghats of Banaras on wood, said that as per the demand of the tourists, we have created three models on the theme of the ghats of Kashi. Apart from this, the design of 5 more models is also being prepared. Different models were created on different themes of Kashi. In some models, the beauty of the ghat and Ganga Aarti was displayed, while in some models, images of Kashi’s Subah-e-Banaras were engraved.
Good demand among tourists
These models made on the theme of Banaras are also very much in demand in the market. Especially the tourists coming from outside see it as an unforgettable gift of Banaras and buy it.
The price is up to 8 thousand rupees
Talking about its price, this 1.5 feet model is priced between 7 to 8 thousand rupees. Shubi said that when her models are made on a large scale, his price will be less.
