During this, Chhattisgarh Chief Cow Protection Officer Omesh Bisen, Gosevak Shailendra Thakrele and Gurudev Chaudhary reached the Collectorate late in the night while performing Dandavat Yatra. Omesh Bisen, who reached the Collectorate after performing Dandavat Yatra, said that the cow slaughter in Seoni was a heinous act of Jihadi thinking and terrorism. The incident has frightened crores of Hindus who have faith in the Mother Cow. This incident has been carried out by SIMI and people of terrorist ideology with a conspiracy, so that the communal atmosphere of the state deteriorates.

He said this is a conspiracy to tarnish the image of the BJP state government. He demanded that the matter should be investigated by CID and the accused should be tried in a fast track court and death sentence should be given to the accused.

Dandavat Yatra associate Shailendra Thakrele said the Seoni incident was heartbreaking. Being a farmer’s son, it is his moral responsibility to come forward to protect the cows and with this thought in mind he participated in the Dandavat Yatra. Bharveli Sarpanch representative Anil Bisen said that this Dandavat Yatra was taken out as a protest against cow slaughter in Seoni.
