Ganeshotsav started on Ganesh Chaturthi at Silver Spring Phase-2, Indore. The residents installed a beautiful idol of Lord Ganesha. He worshiped the Lord with full rituals and performed Aarti after offering food. Like every year, this year too there is great pomp and show here.

According to the residents, various competitions and cultural events will also be organized here for ten days. In this –
– On the first day, Saturday evening, Shri Ganesh Stapana Puja and Aarti were performed at 7 pm. After Aarti, children presented Ganpati Vandana.
– There will be a Ganesh making competition on 8 September from 2.30-4.30 pm. An Individual Singing Competition (Children) will be held on Sunday evening from 8 pm to 9.30 pm.
– An individual dance competition (children) is held on Mondays from 8 pm to 9.30 pm.
– Solo singing competition for girls on Tuesday evening from 8 pm to 9.30 pm.
– Individual dance competition for women on Wednesday evening from 8 pm to 9.30 pm.
– Group dance (children) and Modak competition on Thursday evening from 8 pm to 9.30 pm.
– Group dance competition for women on Friday from 8 to 9.30 pm
– Saturday night from 8 pm to 9.30 pm Fancy Dress Competition.
– Drawing competition (for children) on Sunday afternoon from 2.30 to 4.30 pm and a General Knowledge Quiz competition for children from 8 pm to 9.30 pm.
– Distribution of prizes on Mondays from 8 to 9.30 pm.
– Tuesday Ganpati immersion ceremony from 9 am
Mahila Mandal will organize all these competitions.
