Holi is my favorite festival. There are many memories associated with this festival in particular. Holi celebrated in Paharganj, Delhi will always be close to the heart. Holi was not played there but was celebrated. He used to play a lot with colors with his grandparents, cousins and friends.

For me, Holi is a festival of colours, fun, eating, dancing and smoking cannabis. I never miss an opportunity to celebrate. This year too, we plan to have a lot of fun with our friends. I have some friends who come home uninvited. I enjoy until night. I love playing Holi since childhood. He would leave home in the morning and return only late at night. I am the youngest and everyone’s favorite in my house.

I live in Madhya Pradesh. It is a bit cold there during Holi. My father used to heat water from an electric rod. When my friends came, my father used to ask them to play with my daughter with hot water so that she doesn’t get a fever. I always remember this statement from my father.

Isha Singh: Permanent color did not fade for a week

When I was in Bhopal, our whole family used to go out together to play Holi. Now that I have shifted to Mumbai for my work, it is very difficult to get time off because of my busy schedule.

I remember on Holi when I was about 12 years old, there was a big tub full of water and everyone filled their pitchers from it. My cousins picked me up and threw me into the tub, which drenched me from head to toe. I thought it would be a small discoloration that would disappear soon. Although the tub is filled with permanent colour. Despite all my efforts and home remedies the color did not fade for a week.

Gitanjali Mishra: Eggs were thrown, she cried a lot

Holi is celebrated in school and college is always remembered. We enjoyed without any responsibilities. I remember an incident from my childhood. I’m probably 10 years old. My mother suddenly asked me to bring milk from the market. He left the house without thinking.

All the people in the area put black, green and blue colors on their faces. Not only this, eggs were also thrown at me. I felt very bad. I kept crying for 3 days.

On Holi day, mother definitely prepares Malpua. My excitement knew no bounds after seeing that Malpua. I used to wait for all the family members to collect and eat that Malpua. I really miss the delicious food prepared by my mother.
