In a statement, the leaders of the four countries agreed that the only way to ensure lasting peace and stability in Palestine is to implement a two-state solution. The four leaders discussed their willingness to recognize an independent Palestine. The European leader believes that this move will allow Israel and the Palestinian state to live side by side in peace and security.
