Two youths from abroad have been arrested by the police for committing a huge fraud by allegedly selling various items at cheap prices on social media. The two were friends and had come to India on study visas, police said. The accused, Akumbe Boma and Michael Bunewa, residents of Cameroon, South Africa, lived in Noida. Both of them have cheated many people around 15 crore rupees.

The police said that the racket of these two foreign youths has been exposed in the complaint filed by an Agra-based businessman. This time the cyber police arrested him with great effort. An Audi car, laptop, mobile phone and other things were found with him. They pretended to sell things at cheap prices on social media. After this they used to make innocent people victims.

An investigation revealed that a businessman from Agra had complained

ACP Hariparwat, Agra Aditya said that Agra’s surveillance and cyber crime police have achieved great success. Two thieves from abroad have been arrested by the police. So far he has cheated India of more than 15 crore rupees. Recently, the Agra cyber crime police received a complaint from a food trader that he was cheated of around 8 lakh rupees in the name of jute strips. Later, the police registered a case and started an investigation.
