A case of sexual harassment has been registered against Janata Dal (Secular) MLC and son of HD Revanna Suraj Revanna. A case has been registered against Suraj Revanna under Sections 506, 342, 377 of IPC at Holenarasipura Rural Police Station. Complainant Chetan alleged that Suraj Ravana sexually assaulted her on June 16 at his villa in Ganikada in Hassan district.
After registering the FIR, Sooraj reached Rabana Hasan police station where the police interrogated him. Chetan is a party worker.
Sooraj’s close friend Ravana filed a case against Chetan.
Shivakumar, Suraj Ravana’s close aide, filed the complaint on Friday. On its basis an FIR was registered against Chetan KS and his brother-in-law. Shivakumar filed a complaint that Chetan and one of his relatives wanted to extort money from Suraj by implicating him in a sexual harassment case. But on Saturday, the police registered a case against Sooraj Ravana on the basis of the complaint lodged by the complainant Chetan.
Suraj Revanna is the son of HD Revanna.
Suraj Revanna is the son of Holenarasipura MLA HD Revanna and elder brother of Hassan former MP Prajwal Revanna. Prajwal Ravana has been accused of sexually assaulting several women and is in police custody.
