In the FIR, the statement given by Mahant of Chhattisgarh became the basis. It is also a matter of taking action.
An FIR has been registered against Chhattisgarh Opposition Leader Charan Das Mahant. This FIR came after BJP’s complaint to the Election Commission regarding Mahant’s controversial statement. Mahant said from the stage at an election rally on April 2 that we need a person who can break PM Modi’s head. BJP then strongly opposed this statement and adopted an aggressive approach.
Regarding this, BJP has taken action against the Center and the state in the case of hate speech.
