ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Famous singer Shehnaz Begum was remembered on her fifth death anniversary across the country on Saturday.
He was born on January 2, 1952 in Dhaka. She started her career at the age of 11 as a playback singer for the film ‘Notun Sur’ in 1963 while she first performed on PTV in 1964.
He sang in Bangladeshi and Pakistani films. She mainly sang patriotic songs, including ‘Sohni Dharti Allah Rakhe’, ‘Watan Kim Mitti Gawa Rehna’ and ‘Jeevay Jeevay Pakistan’ in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
