New Delhi: In the Lok Sabha Election 2024 (Lok Sabha Election 2024), the Congress party has achieved a good lead. The result of this Lok Sabha Election (Lok Sabha Election Results 2024) has come in a way that no one expected. Voters have proven that the exit polls carried out by most of the organizations under their noses are not true, our vote is the real verdict. So the credibility of exit polls has once again declined.
The BJP led NDA is all set to come to power by getting a simple majority, and even if the NDA wins and comes to power again in this election result, it is not a real victory for the BJP, and even if the Congress is led. ‘India’ coalition losing without getting a majority, it is not a loss. Because BJP lost half the seats than expected. The opposition got more seats than expected. It is analyzed as a victory even in defeat.

Meanwhile, the BJP party has not been able to register the victory as expected and has not got the majority, so it is necessary to rely on allies. With the BJP not getting a clear majority in the Lok Sabha, regional parties are now in high demand. The Narendra Modi-led BJP now has to meet the demands of the JDU and TDP parties in the NDA coalition, so there is a strong possibility that the Bihar JDU party will put a list of demands before Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Earlier, JD(U) had promised special status to Bihar. So, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar is likely to demand that the Center gives special status to Bihar. In addition to this, there is a high possibility of demanding important portfolios in the new Center Cabinet, and there is a possibility that the JDU will hold on to one of the most important portfolios, namely the railways portfolio. It is worth noting here that Nitish Kumar was the Railways Minister of the Center at the Cabinet level earlier. It has been learned that there is a possibility that JD will tighten the important portfolios such as rural development and agriculture portfolio together with railways.
Not only this, it has come to know that the JDU party will insist on formulating a universal basic program in the NDA government this time and will demand that Prime Minister Narendra Modi leads the government under the universal minimum programme. Earlier, when HD Deve Gowda was the Prime Minister, he had formulated the Universal Minimum Program and managed the government accordingly. There is a common required programme, ie an element agreed upon by all parties to the alliance, to be drawn up and implemented.

But JDU is less likely to agree to include NRC, UCC in the general basic program. It will be very difficult for the BJP to run the government on a general basic program as there was no general basic program between 2014 and 2024. This is because the BJP crossed a simple majority on its own strength.
But this time the BJP did not get a simple majority. A government can lead with the support of allied parties. But BJP cannot make any plans as it wants. Whatever decision has to be made, it is essential to move forward after discussing it with the allied parties, and to what extent this will put pressure on the BJP, remains to be seen.
