GUWAHATI: The dates of Ashtami, Navami and Dashami have caused confusion among people. To clear up the confusion surrounding the Durga Puja 2024 schedule, the exact dates and timings for major ceremonies have been confirmed.

Devotees can now follow the following timings for the celebrations:
– Saptami: October 10
– Ashtami: October 11 from 5:23 to 6:24
– Sandhi Puja on Ashtami: October 11 from 6:24 am to 7:12 am
– Navami: October 11 starting at 8:19 am and continuing throughout the day
– Dashami: October 12 from 5:44 to 9:16
Bisarjan (Baptism) will be ritually followed by the respective Pandals of their choice on 12th or 13th October.
