Eid and Sarhul will be celebrated on 11 April. In view of the two festivals on the same day, the Municipal Corporation has started strengthening the city’s sanitation system. To keep the designated route of Eid and Sarhul Shobha Yatra clean, a cleaning drive will be conducted in two shifts. The Corporation Administrator, Amit Kumar, has directed all the zonal and ward supervisors to clean the roads and drains, cut grass growing on drain banks, fog and sprinkle water. Instructions have also been given to make arrangements for portable toilets around the mosque and Sarna sites.
