Madhepura DM Taranjot Singh inspected the flood affected areas under Chaoza block on Tuesday. The DM directed the Chief Engineer of PHED to construct temporary toilets as per the requirement. Instructions were also given for the use of halogen tablets in manual water purification pumps. The medical officer in charge has been instructed to organize camps daily in the flood affected areas.
The Senior Engineer of Udakishunganj Rural Works Department has been instructed to repair the road from Pulaut to Sepni Tula. Babni Tula of Mursandha Panchayat was checked for erosion in Kosi river water and the concerned officer was instructed to stop the erosion as soon as possible. ADM (Disaster) Mukesh Kumar, Udakishunganj SZ Hasan, BDO, CO and SDRF staff were present during the inspection.
