The total number of voters in Dauria Lok Sabha is 1729583. In the 2019 elections, the BJP fielded Ramapati Ram Tripathi. He got 5,80,644 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party candidate Vinod Jaiswal stood second here. Vinod got a total of 3,30,713 votes. Similarly, Niaz Ahmed Khan of Congress got 51,056 votes. Talking about the 2014 elections, Klaraj Mishra of the Bharatiya Janata Party got 496,500 votes. In these elections, BSP also remained in second place. BSP candidate Niaz Ahmed got 265,386 votes. In third place was Balshwar Yadav from the Samajwadi Party. He received a total of 150,852 votes.
