The dead body of a youth has been found on the tracks of the Sundar Branch Canal in Mohla village of Narnaund sub-division in Hisar district. When the villagers going to the fields from the canal track saw the dead body lying there, they informed the village sarpanch Dharambir Fauji. The Sarpanch immediately called 112 and informed the police.

According to the information, around 3.30 pm on Tuesday afternoon, Kala, a resident of Mohalla, was going to the fields when he saw a bike parked on the Sundar Branch Canal track and a young man lying dead near the bike. Kala immediately informed the village sarpanch Dharambir Fauji. The Sarpanch reached the spot and informed Bas police station.

A mobile phone was found in the deceased youth’s pocket and a call was coming from the deceased’s aunt. When the police asked him, the deceased youth was identified as 20-year-old Aman, who lives in Kharaiti village, Julana, in Jind district. Bas police station informed this to his family members. After this the family members of the deceased arrived at the spot. According to the police, injury marks were found on the fingers and toes of the deceased youth. The police are investigating the case from all angles. The FSL team have been called by the police to the scene for an investigation. The team collected necessary evidence from the scene.

The deceased youth, Aman, aged 20, a resident of Khairaiti village in Julana in Jind district, used to work in Chand’s shop in the village. Went out on a bike to get drinking water around 9 pm Monday night. When he did not return until late at night, Chand also slept with his family. But on Tuesday afternoon he was found lying on the tracks of the Sundar Branch Canal in Mohalla village. Aman’s father, Subhash, works to fix animal horns. Aman lived in Chand’s house in the village and was unmarried. The can in which water was to be carried was also found in the bag of the bike.

Bass police station in-charge Pavitra Kumar said he was informed by sarpanch Dharambir of Mohla village that the body was lying on the track of the Sundar Branch Canal. The police arrived at the scene and took the body and the bike into custody. Further action will be taken based on the statement of the family members.
