A cylinder bomb was found which was hidden in the forest by the Naxalites with the aim of creating chaos in the elections and causing harm to the security forces and the police. Was defused by the bomb disposal team. CRPF 214 Battalion Chief KD Joshi said that F/214 Battalion and Latehar District Police conducted a joint operation in the dense forests of Jaigir Hills near Baribandh village in Garu police station.
